Cannock Chase, Little Haywood, UK UFO With Red Lights

Shape of objects: Like a small plane but not a plane say 30 to 40ft long, with loads of lights down the wing & 3 at the end of the wings.
Weather Conditions: Damp roads but clear sky bit dark but clear.

Description: Hi there, I have just had a phone call off my friend, who was driving though Cannock Chase, Little Haywood about 8pm to 8.15pm she says the UFO was about 50 foot in front and about 70 feet in the air.

It was like a small plane, say about 30 to 40 feet long maybe with red light down the wings and 3 light at the end of the wing gray in colour. It stopped & hovered for a few seconds then went very, very quick across to the fields flying lower & then that was that as it just disappeared.

She is a level headed person but what can this be as it was not a mod done plane or anything else she as seen near the RAF base at Stafford or anywhere else ?
There was a car in front of her and a car behind her too, so some one else beside her mate must have seen this. Many thanks.
