3 Orange Lights Changing Directions Over Rosyth Scotland

Date:  November of 2010
Date:  Evening.

I live in Rosyth and in November of 2010 I saw 3 orange lights moving very strangely in the sky above Ridley Drive/Thompson place.

I was with an ex-girlfriend at the time and we both watched in amazement as they changed course at a whim, moving at right angles then stopped perfectly still then vanished.

My first thought was "Chinese Lanterns", but after seeing how they moved at speed and changed direction I quickly dismissed this. We do have a Naval dockyard nearby.

If anybody has any more info I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

Bright Red/Orange Lights Spotted Over Rosyth Scotland

Date:  January 17, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Hi Brian, my family and I saw 3 bright orange/red lights over Rosyth on Tuesday 17.01.12. They looked as if they came from the Stirling direction. There was 2 of them at practically the same time, then another came about 3 or 4 minutes later.

They all headed upwards seeming to hover a little then disappeared to a pin prick.

Orange Lights Over Rosyth UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 02:35

Hi Brian, from about midnight until about 02:35 my family and I saw the same orange lights over Rosyth. The first one seemed to be hovering over our house and it appeared to have a bright orange aura behind it. From then onwards they were spotted in groups of 3 and 4 at various times when they would disappear and then reappear. They changed direction and height and were inconsistent in their movements. Like you we got some photos but they were not very clear. very strange.

Strange Lights And A Jelly Fish UFO Seen Over Rosyth Scotland UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 12:10 a.m.

Hi Brian, my name is (removed) also and I came across your little report about the apparent UFO's you seen last night (1st Jan 2010)

Me and my girlfriend had a quiet night and was watching some fireworks from my bedroom window, but we saw strange lights coming down south from Dunfermline that then came over Rosyth (my home town) caught our eyes. They kept on coming one by one then disappearing behind a small cloud and we didn't seem to see these lights continue passed it (which as you obviously know, it was a pretty clear night)

What really caught our eye though was one of the lights 15 minutes into these sightings at around 12:10am, a light falling down from another one, but what really blew our mind was what happened next.

After the lights seem to stop coming, we saw a very strange object flying along low and the only way I can explain it, is like a jelly fish. It was almost transparent and no lights was emitting from this (UFO?) I used to be into UFO sightings in my early teens, but never ever saw anything myself. I'm now 29 and UFO's was just a passing faze, but after last nights sightings, I have to say it's sparked me back up. I lived in Fife all my days and never really paid much attention to our own sky's. Have you seen this kind of activity often along our region?
