Four White Lights Seen Over Highlands Drogheda Co. Louth Ireland

Date:  March 23, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Saw three, maybe four white lights in perfect alignment over Highlands area in Drogheda tonight. Thought it was a plane at first and this is what caught my attention.

A red light was flashing between them (like a plane), but whole time was completely stationary. I watched for ages, but it didn't move at all.

It was weird, I went to knock door for my son to look.

When I turned round again, it had totally vanished. Not moved, it literally vanished! Anyone else seen it?

Fast Traveling UFO Changes Direction In An Instant Over Athy Co. Kildare Ireland

Date:  December 2010
Time:  7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Oval.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was around 7 o’clock in the evening, just a few days after Christmas me and a friend were walking the dogs around a field close to or housing estate.

We couldn't help, but look at the the night sky as it was so clear and lit up with millions of stars, when we noticed a glowing oval shaped object fly by.

It seem to come from know where.

At first we thought it was a meteorite, but it changed direction so fast and disappeared all with in a few seconds. I can honestly say it was not a plane or shooting star or a meteorite as it was going so fast and changed direction in a split second.

If my friend wasn't with me, I wouldn't of believed what I just seen. Every night I walk the same field with the dogs and have yet to see it again.

Red Orange Lights Filmed Over Drogheda Co. Louth Ireland (Pictures)

Date: September 3, 2011
Time: Around 10:30 to 11:00 p.m.

Hi, we experienced strange lights in the sky last night. It happened around 10.30 to 11:00 pm, when we spotted red-orangey lights flying in the sky. There was six or seven ,with same distance following each other in a line, and then disappearing.

Until we got camera to photograph what we seen, one returned to our sight from another angle, and we captured it.

On our taken photos we see couple more orange lights in distance, also couple blue lights, which ones we didn't see while taking the photos.

We are adding couple of photos for you to see what you think of it. With kind regards.

Orange Coloured Light Over Banbridge Co. Down Northern Ireland

Date: March 18, 2011
Time: Between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Last night, 18th March 2011 between 7:00pm and 8:00pm roughly, I was standing at my back door in Banbridge, Co. Down Northern Ireland. I was smoking a cigarette and looking up at the night sky. I saw an orange coloured light heading in an eastern direction. At first I thought it was an aircraft, but I couldn't hear any sound from it.

As I watched, I noticed the brightness of the light, as it was fluctuating, but not blinking on and off like an aircraft. To me it looked like something burning in the sky. I have seen shooting stars before, but this one was moving slower. There was no erratic movement, it was just moving in a one way course. I watched for 3-4 minutes and eventually the light fluctuated brighter, then darker then it disappeared.

I thought maybe it was some sort of comet? I typed into Google 'comet over Banbridge and found your site.' Just thought I would share what I saw with you. I wonder did anyone else see what I saw last night? Feel free to email me back.

Gold Ball Of Light Over Mount Merrion Co. Dublin Ireland

Date: February 19, 2011
Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Hi, I just thought I would give you an email to say I saw what the witness described http://worldufos.blogspot.com/2011/03/bright-orange-balllight-over-mount.html in this article on a Saturday in February.

It was Saturday the 19th of February on the N11 between Fassaroe and the Bray\Shankhill exit, about 7:00pm ish. I was going north and it was going south, flying low and then it veered to the west. We lost sight of it. We saw it for about 1 minute as it came down the motor way and then went off it.

Looked like a meteor, except it was too low and too slow. No flashing colours just a gold ball, that was very bright gold light. Me and my wife both observed it. I spotted it and asked my wife did she know what it was, which she didn't.

Bright Orange Ball/Light Over Mount Merrion Co. Dublin Ireland

Date: March 4, 2011
Time: Approx: 7:45 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.

A Vike Factor Note: The witness thought maybe it might have been me who witnessed a similar object, but it was not myself, but rather a witness who was kind enough to send along their sighting report to me.

Hello Mr. Brian, tonight I had a look on Internet and I found your blog. I was really interested because you were talking about orange light/balls over Dublin. Well, I live in Mount Merrion (Co.Dublin) and tonight around 7:45/7:50 I was walking to Stillorgan Shopping Centre and just for pure coincidence i had a look at the sky.

At the beginning, I saw an orange light/ball in the sky, it was to weird to be a star. Then I stopped walking and I had a better look at it, and it actually wasn't a star. I thought it was a plane, but the light/ball was too big to be one of the plane lights, and I don't think it could be a meteor, because the light/ball wasn't moving (I mean, it didn't go down like a shooting star).

The light/ball had an orange colour and it was really clear and really shinny. The weird thing is, that the light was ''pulsing'', I mean was bigger and shinier and after it was a bit smaller, but still shiny.

I looked at the light ball for 1 or 2 minutes and after that it disappeared (or maybe I didn’t see it anymore because of the clouds). Unfortunately I couldn't take any pictures or video because I didn’t have my camera.

I may not know lots of things about planes or meteorites, but the thing I saw was definitely not a star or something similar.

I was just curious to know if you saw it, or if someone wrote to you about this thing ? Thanks and sorry for disturbing.

Orange Red Objects Over Sixmilebridge Co. Clare Ireland

Date: February 18, 2011
Time: 9:20 p.m.

Hi folks, at 21:20 on Friday 18th February, myself and my 11 year old son were returning from the shop in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare, when I spotted a distant, orange looking "star" in the sky to the north of the village.

I thought it strange and asked my son if he had heard any news, thinking Mars might be visible, but the light faded within seconds of us spotting it. We carried on, wondering what the light might have been, when a second light came into view coming from the Shannon/Bunratty direction.

This second light was breath taking, whatever it was, I stopped and exited the car to get a better look and to see if I could hear if it was making any noise eg.jet or helicopter. The light was at approximately 200 feet altitude (which it maintained throughout the sighting), was a perfectly defined circle,
orange/red in colour and completely silent.

It moved at about the same speed as a helicopter in the direction of the first light we saw, and disappeared in the same spot as the first. The whole sighting lasted 2 - 3 minutes. I would greatly appreciate any explanation you could provide on the matter. Was it something to do with the mass core ejection from the sun? Ball lightning? Visitors? I eagerly and excitedly await your reply. Regards.

Bright Orange Object Over Enniscorthy Co. Wexford Ireland

Date: January 19, 2011
Time: Approx: 5:50 p.m.

Good evening, I would like to pass on some information regarding a possible sighting I witnessed in company with my father at approximately 17.50 hrs today over the town of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Ireland. Visibility was excellent due to frosty conditions and full moon, with no cloud cover.

We noticed a bright orange object which we initially thought was a star, until it began to slowly move in a westerly direction towards the Blackstairs Mountains. The object appeared to be at a greater height than commercial airline traffic of which there was a considerable amount at that time in the evening, but did not have the usual lights visible on aircraft.

It appeared to be moving too slowly to be the International Space Station and I have never noticed a light of that colour while the space station was passing overhead. From my vantage point the object appeared to be following a slightly curved path, could this be because of the height it appeared to be travelling at?

We watched the object for approximately 3 minutes when it's trajectory appeared to change and it moved slowly upwards until it faded from view. I would be interested to know your views on what we may have seen this evening and if it can be explained rationally. Regards.

Two Objects Seen Traveling From Newport Town To Castlebar Town Co. Mayo Ireland (Pictures)

Date: December 11, 2010
Time: 10:15 p.m.

Dear Sir/Madam, on Dec. 11th 2010 I was on my way home from work. The time was 10:15pm on a clear and frosty night. I was travelling from Newport town to Castlebar Town, Co.Mayo, Ireland when two objects appeared in the sky. It’s not easy to describe these objects. They appeared, I would say, 1/4 mile high and were not exactly round. However nothing like a flying saucer.

The most striking thing was their burners which were a reddish blue light. As the burners were so dominant, I’m finding it difficult to describe the main constituents of the fuselage. Their movements were very precise, they moved from an almost full stop to speeds I can only describe as unbelievable.

I’m sending you three photos and would welcome any feedback. These images were taken on my mobile phone. Sorry, the quality may not be good enough.

Please note: I’m a 55 year old man and I’m not given to time wasting.

Triangular UFO Following Ball Of Fire Over Clonmel Co. Tipperary Ireland

Date: Summer 2010
Time: Evening.

Brian Vike Note: In this report there are a number of interesting sightings.

Hi Brian, I live in Clonmel Co.Tipperary Ireland. I was surfing the net looking for info on orbs and I came across your site and the report form Cellbridge. I too have had sightings of these orange orbs, on four different occasions. The first time I had just finished looking at a strange cylinder like craft when something seemed to tell me to look behind me, and when I did I saw a ball of fire hovering in the sky!

Through my binoculars, 15 x 70 Celestron, I could see a black triangle at the back end of the ball of fire. It seemed to approach me then it stopped, and shot off at great speed over the horizon in under two seconds! We are on a flight path for Atlantic flights and see planes by the dozen every day and night and they normally take up to five minutes to cover the distance that this orb did in under two seconds. This was in this years summer.

The next sighting was Halloween also this year .I saw two orange orbs at first then one shot off and never reappeared. The second orb just moved in circles and then disappeared and reappeared in another part of the sky. These were not Chinese lanterns as I have seen these before, and anyway the orbs went against the wind that was blowing that night.

The next sighting was two red orbs about a foot apart in the sky. They were moving slowly over the town from a northerly direction and all of a sudden the first one shot off to the west at great speed and the second one kept going south until it disappeared in to some clouds. I never saws either again.

The last was the most exciting as it was closer than the others. I had opened the door to go into the back garden and there in front of me hovering over the neighbors roof about forty yards away, was what I can only describe as a bright trans lucid orange sea mine like object. Luckily I had my binocs at hand and through them this object seemed transparent, almost jellyfish like. There seemed to be two yellow square lights in side it.

After a few minutes it moved off very slowly and once again I had the feeling that it knew I was looking at it. Really weird, but not frighteningly so. There has been a number of sightings of orange orbs in Ireland this year for some reason. I like to do a bit of astronomy myself and have done so for thirty odd years and have seen strange unexplainable things, UFOs so as to speak, but never orange orbs until this year. I hope this is of help to you, best of luck with your work in the future and Happy Christmas.

Orange Glow From UFO Over Coalisland Co. Tyrone UK

Date: November 9, 2010
Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Coalisland Co.Tyrone.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Circular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At about 7.30pm I left my house to get my phone from my car, but a large orange glow in the distance caught my eye due to the speed at which it was travelling. It was moving from west to east much faster than any aircraft I’ve ever seen. It was flying no more than a few hundred feet from the ground, and although difficult to estimate, it seemed only 2-3 hundred feet diagonally away from me.

I ran inside the house to tell my mother to come out and look. We both stood watching it trying to work out what it was because I wouldn't ever believe in anything like this, but it amazed us both.

It was visible for a minute or so, I never got a recording although I never even thought until it was to late. The object made no sound whatsoever and covered a vast distance in no time. It was a clear sky and in proportion to the stars, it was 4 or 5 times bigger. It didn't really freak me out at the time, but on checking the net for other sightings in my area, and writing this I can honestly say its the weirdest experience I’ve ever encountered.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Orange Object Over Ahoghill Ballymena Co. Antrim UK

Date: September 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:15 p.m.

Tonight- 1st September 2010 I witnessed a bright orange orb in the sky in Ahoghill, Ballymena, Co. Antrim UK. My stepfather came home around 10:00pm and told me he saw a strange orange light in the sky. I went to check it out and didn't see anything.

At about a quarter past 10:00pm I went out for a cigarette and happened to look at the spot in the sky where he claimed to have seen it and I saw a bright orange flame like orb in the sky judging by the distance it was bigger than a plane or around the same size.

It stayed static for about two minutes and I moved closer to try and figure out what it was as I moved it started to move to the north west, slowly. As it was moving it became dimmer, but still visible it blended with the stars but it was below cloud level. It then about 4 seconds after it started to move it shoot straight up into the clouds and vanished. I am 100% sure it wasn't a lantern due to the size and the speed in which it moved and also due to the brightness of it.

There seems to be a lot of these sightings in this area as I have been researching since I saw it there is a similar post on your sight from this area. Any help on what it was would be great also going to look for it again and snap a picture.

Newbliss, Co. Monaghan, Ireland Seven Star Like Objects

Posted: April 19, 2009

Date: March 28, 2009
Time: About 9 ish pm

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 7
Shape of objects: Like bright stars, with a flashing light.
Weather Conditions: Clear sky, a calm night but cold.

Description: After getting our little girl to bed, my partner and I settled down in front of the TV to watch a movie. It had not started long when the picture started to play up, it was like static all across the screen, then it would go blank with static. This would last for about 15/20 minutes at a time then the TV would return to normal. I checked the other tv but it was the same. My partner joked saying that maybe it was the aliens, we laughed n put it down to the Ariel.

I went up to check on our little girl then I looked out the window to see if it was windy to explain the bad reception on the tv, when something caught my eye.

It was like a bright star, with some kind of a flickering light on it, it was moving erratically that I could not take my eye off it n I could not believe my eye. At first I thought it was something out of control n that it might crash. I ran down stairs to my partner n told him to look out of the window. It would move up n down really fast, left n right then in a circle, it was almost dancing. All this time the tv was still playing up. We went out side for a better look and couldn't believe what we were seeing that when we looked up there were seven of them all spread equally apart, doing the same thing. We watched them for about 20 minutes before going in (to tell the truth we were in a daze wondering what was going on). We tried to watch tv for a bit but we gave up because it was still playing up. We watched the dancing stars for a bit longer then went to bed. I had the baby monitor by my bed as my daughter has her own room, which started making crackling/static noises. This would again like the tv go on for about 10/15 minutes then stop, this carried on all night through till morning. This freaked me out as it was in my baby's room so I kept checking her n looking out the window but the dancing stars were still there but raising in the sky.

Stanley Co. Durham, U.K. Cigar UFO

Posted: July 13, 2008

Date: November 5, 1975
Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Cigar.
Weather Conditions: Dark but clear

Description: I was walking with my friend going towards the swimming baths when I noticed this huge orange cigar shaped object motionless ahead, as we started walking towards it, it started moving very slowly forwards,it then stopped and shot backwards and then again motionless, by this time we were very frightened and tried to hide as it felt as if we were being watched.it continued to make angular sharp turns and then finally started to drift slowly in its original
direction.while it was there I didn't see any cars passing, but when we got to the swimming baths I got some adults to come and look outside, they didn't know what it was but didn't show much interest.

It was very low in the sky and making impossible maneuvers, it glowed a yellow/orange color and felt menacing. Years later I was talking to a builder in my sister-in-laws house and we got onto the subject of UFOs, it turned out that he and a number of people at beamish which is the direction I saw it heading had witnessed it also. He said that it had been reported

TV/Radio: It was reported which I found out much later.

Kircubbin, Co. Down, Northern Ireland Egg Shaped UFO

Posted: June 14, 2008

Date: June 8, 2008
Time: 00.20

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 4
Shape of objects: Round, egg shaped.
Weather Conditions: Clear sky and dry. New moon.

Description: We returned home after being out at the cinema. After about ten minutes of sitting on the sofa in our living room/kitchen my husband drew my attention to what looked like a flare going up in sky. We ran outside and observed 3 very bright lights following each other at what appeared to be great speed. A fourth then came into sight. They were a bright white color but also seemed to be red. There was no noise at all and the lights were very low. They went in a line following each other and then the first three formed a V shape.

They just disappeared suddenly one at a time at different points in the sky. The fourth light took the longest to go. We live in the country and there are no other houses near us nor any street lights. We see a lot of planes fly overhead but have never witnessed anything like we did tonight!I would say the lights were in view for about one and a half minutes.

TV/Radio: Not reported.
