Orange Lights Spotted Flying Towards Torquay And Exeter UK

 

Date:  June 4, 2011 and June 11, 2011

Time:  11:00 p.m. and just before midnight.

 

Saturday June 4, 11:00pm, an orange light approached from the sea and turned across the coast towards Torquay. This was followed by two more orange lights which separated slightly, then the three of them gradually faded in the distance. 

 

Possibly helicopters, but the lights were steady, no flicker, and were still visible when they were travelling away.

 

Saturday 11 June, just before midnight, looking towards Exeter, seemed to be a searchlight from a height of about 500 feet, from a stationary point that swiveled one way then the other for about 5 minutes at least from the time I saw it.  Too high to be ground based, mostly hidden by low cloud, but always just visible.

Exeter, South West UK A Series Of Small Orange Orbs

Time: Between 22:30-22:50hrs

Hi Brian, Just logged on the internet as a result of what I've just seen here in Exeter, South West UK. My report is almost identical to one filed with you in late 2008 from someone else in a different part of this city, "December 27th 2008 : Redhills, Exeter, Devon, England" to be precise.

Between 22:30-22:50hrs I saw a series of small orange orbs moving silently across the sky. It was like watching a series of plane coming in to land at a busy international airport (nothing of that scale near here). Some of the orbs had bits break off them and fall vertically towards the earth - no sign, sound or evidence of any impact to be seen. The majority reached a certain point (usually the same point) in the sky then vanished!

Never seen anything like this before in my life and have no idea who or where to report this kind of thing.

I'd be interested if you have any views as to what this might have been - must be exactly the same as the guy who reported something like this in December.

Black Boy Road, Exeter, Devon, UK Orange Colored Orbs/Lights

Full Description of event/sighting: Sighting occurred between 12:15 & 12:25am on January 1st 2009. In first instance I spotted two steady orange lights one slightly brighter then the other hanging in the sky to the west while walking in Black Boy Road, west, towards the center of town. At that time I took them to be stars or planets which were bright enough to shine through the cloud cover, and in doing so had taken on the orangey colour.

Within a couple of minutes I again looked upwards, this time only one was visible, it was moving slow and steady from north too south across the sky at an angle of maybe 50 degrees, at which point I pointed this out to my girlfriend, we both then watched as this lasted for something under a minute before it appeared to stop complete, it then changed direction heading into the west, it appeared to both accelerate and fade before disappearing completely.

Kipling Drive Exeter Devon UK Three Orange Colored Objects

Location of Sighting: Kipling drive Exeter Devon UK.

Shape of objects: Squarish.

Full Description of event/sighting: We saw 3 objects squarish and orange in colour in the sky there were no pulsing lights and no sound traveling quite fast one appeared followed closely by another then a few seconds later another, the third was over to one side more than the other two which seemed to be on the line. All three were heading in the same direction westerly towards the city center.I have nor the others with me had ever seen anything like it.

Redhills, Exeter, Devon UK Approximately 60 Circular Orange Objects

Shape of objects: Circular orange.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was called out to the front door by neighbour who had seen approx: 40 twinkling, orange orbs go silently overhead in a westerly direction. We then saw approx: 20 more, not in formation, but at the same speed. Completely silent in a clear sky. I have seen lit balloons to catch moths in the New Forest, but I don't think there are many of those around at this time of year! We are used to seeing aircraft at night as we live on the approach to Exeter airport.

Chudleigh, Exeter, Devon UK 30 To 40 Objects

Shape of objects: Oval.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: An oval shape orangey yellow, one in front the rest followed in formation. as I went through the village Chudleigh, two other people were looking up at the sky. I managed to get a few on my camcorder.

TV/Radio: Haven't heard.
