Fast Moving Object With Green Light Following Behind Over Warrington UK

Time:  Around 9:35 p.m. – 9:40 p.m.

Hi ya, I agree with your observation, tonight at around 9:35 p.m. – 9:40 p.m. I seen an unidentified object with really green tail light moving with good speed, I seen it was passing over Warrington near by Cinnamon Brow area.

 

I was just walking towards spar shop in Cinnamon Lane and spotted what looked like a shooting star.

 

I was watching it for while, but it was moving slowly and had some head which was not clear and then it disappear in clouds. Yes I can confirm I have seen something like you mentioned. Hope that helps. Keep me informed if you find anything more on this.

Object Had Green Tail And Spotted Over Lymm Warrington UK

I saw the same thing over Lymm, Warrington at about the same time. At  first I thought it was a shooting star, but it seemed too slow. It  looked almost like a rocket, but with a green tail.

Bright Yellow Glowing Sphere Over Orford Warrington UK

Time:  6:45 p.m.

 

Hi, we live in Orford Warrington. On the 9th January 09 at 6.45 p.m., myself, sister and her husband all witnessed a bright yellow glowing sphere moving across the sky and very low down, say no more than 40/50 feet in the air.

 

It was much brighter than the street lights and moving quite fast from south to north towards Winwck. We never saw it approaching as we were chatting down the side of the house which obscured vision, but we saw it as it flew by then and watched as it continued across Peel Hall Park until disappearing into the distance a minute or so later, even though it was very close as it passed. 

 

It was completely silent. Although this left us all baffled, we all knew at that point that this was no conventional air traffic of any description we knew of.

Unusual Object Moves Across The Sky Over Warrington UK

Time:  11:15 p.m.

 

Hello Brian, my name is (name removed) and I live in Warrington UK. It's halfway between Liverpool and Manchester.

 

I was outside at 23.15, looking up at the stars as I had my last cigarette of the day. I noticed a single star get significantly brighter, just south of the Plough constellation. I watched it as it remained in place for around a minute. It appeared from nowhere as if powering up. No movement.

 

Then it started to move west at a speed similar to that of a jet at altitude. There was no perceivable acceleration. It was still, then moving. It moved across the sky about two hand lengths (if hands outstretched). This took about 10 seconds. During this time I argued with myself:

 

Shooting star? Too slow.

Helicopter? Too high, too quiet.

Jet? Stationary? No! and no flashing lights.

 

Then it moved straight up from a horizontal to vertical path and faded slowly away. The moment it disappeared, 2 parallel shooting stars came from the north behind me and across the path it had just flown.

 

I had not drank anything and the cigarette was 'straight'.

 

I hope this makes sense as I'm still a little excited and hope it is of interest to you.

Bright Orange Light Observed Over Culcheth Warrington UK

Time: 00:20 hours.

I just found this article after doing a search. A few minutes ago, at around 00:20 on 25th December 2010, I saw a bright orange light in the sky heading south southeast. It was visible for around 40 seconds and in this instance did look like an object burning up. It had a flame orange appearance and was naked eye resolvable as approximately 1/8th diameter of the nearby moon. So it looks to be perhaps different to the original post, but still spectacular and quite a coincidence.

Hi, it was Culcheth in Warrington in UK. And slight correction, it was travelling south, southeast (not west). It looked like a classic fireball, if so it was a privilege to happen to catch such a rare event!

10 To 15 Bright Red Lights Over Warrington Cheshire UK

I live in Warrington, Cheshire. I went to put the dog outside last night at 12:15am and couldn't believe what I saw. I looked up in the direction of Orion's Belt and saw at least 10 - 15 bright red lights, passing over towards the south. No noise. They were in no formation, but all travelling in the same direction. I watched them for ten minutes and they disappeared south.

Orange Lights - Chinese Lanterns Flew From Burtonwood, Warrington UK

Dear Vike Factor:

Just to let you know we set off 10 flying Chinese lanterns that flew from Burtonwood, Warrington out towards Widnes/Cheshire and presumably on to Ellesmere Port. We let 4 go around 10pm ish, then another 1 around 11.30 following by another one at 11.35 and then the final 4 at 11.55. They have a flight duration of 20 minutes and it was windy so they would have progressed quite quickly. I also think that other people were letting them off too as they were widely available from the pound shops!

My friend let 4 off again from Burtonwood at 8.00pm! Hope this explains it, the reason I googled UFO sightings was because the very first time I saw one I too thought it was a UFO, but later learned it was a Chinese Lantern which obviously get used on New Years eve! Hope this helps explain a possible reason for the sightings, though nothing is ever 100% and the sightings may genuinely have been UFO sightings – who knows? Regards.

Orford Warrington Cheshire UK A Yellow/White Light

Location of Sighting: Orford Warrington Cheshire.

Shape of objects: Globe-like.

Full Description of event/sighting: Just gone into the garden with the dogs when I saw it coming towards the house. It was a round yellow/white light with what looked like red streamers on the top. (looked as if it was on fire, but only on the top.) It was very much larger than the main light on a nearby aircraft, which fly over here all the time. The light was very intense but was constant, not pulsating. I watched it come towards me for about 2 minutes at which point I was joined by my wife who saw it too. It changed direction at this point and headed over towards Newton-le Willows. As we watched, it got smaller and smaller (obviously) but disappeared before it would have done if it was travelling like any known craft. At all times it's speed remained constant and it maintained level flight for the duration of our sighting which lasted for about 4 minutes.

Description: Thought it was a meteor at first but there was no tail or trail of debris it then moved from north east to south west at a labored speed and then disappeared in to the distance. I am at a lose to explain to my daughter what it was exactly that we had seen? We had just been looking at the plough to identify the north star so I am confident of the objects direction. It was orange and appeared to be on fire not very big but I couldn't say how close it was.

Full Description of event/sighting: There were two orange lights about the size of a plane travelling away from us. They were not together and did not follow each other exactly. The sky was very clear and just before they disappeared they flashed slightly. This lasted about 2 minutes in total.
