Moving Orange Light Over Gilwern Monmouthshire UK

Just saw similar (as well as my wife), in Gilwern Monmouthshire on 12/2/11 at 19:35, coming from SW to NW - similarly quite low, no noise, and also travelling at steady speed, quite large when overhead observer for about the same time, would be interested to know what it was. Regards.

Weather Conditions: Calm, clear.

Description: Ok, so I might be going mad, I firstly saw 2 orange lights, at first thought they were a plane and then maybe a flare. I went outside to look, they just disappeared and then a third one came. No witnesses, I called my son, but he was asleep.

TV/Radio: No reports.

Pontypool, Monmouthshire, Wales Round Orange Light

Shape of objects: Round.
Weather Conditions: Cloudy.

Description: We saw one orange light which was almost like a flickering ball of flame then another light of the same brightness appeared and the two moved around each other with unnaturally fluid motions for about one minute.

A third bigger and brighter ball of light moved across from the right to meet the other two as they were fading away and stayed to the right of them.

After about 45 seconds the third light had started to fade away or travel away and disappear into nothing.

The whole time we were watching them it was completely silent except for one "ping" and the only way we could describe this would to be a note on a triangle the size of a house. Not because of the volume of the sound but the resonance.
