Orange Colored Light Seen Over Fourways Johannesburg South Africa

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

 

Hi there, I live in Fourways, near Monte Casino and just after 8:00 p.m. I was outside on Saturday night 4th February 2012, when my husband I and saw an orange light coming from the west.

 

At first we thought it was plane from Lanseria, but then the light was the wrong colour and too dim, had no flashing lights either side of it and there was no sound. It moved towards us and then I guess over around Jukskei Park.

 

It moved north and I could still see the orange light. I often watch the flight paths of planes from Lanseria and ORT and this didn’t follow any of the normal flight paths.

If it was a plane the lights would have gone off as it turned away from us. I watched it move north for quite sometime. I have no idea what it was, but it was definitely not a plane/helicopter or a man made machine of any kind.

 

As for Chinese lantern, no the trajectory was too deliberate. Not fireworks or a flare, perhaps you have some insights to this?

One Orange Ball Of Light Observed Over Fourways Johannesburg South Africa

I saw one orange ball looked like a ring of fire around it near Fourways, Johannesburg at about 23:20 strange. It was very clearly visible, even though it had been raining during the early evening. It then just disappeared !

Numerous Orange Lights Flying From Fourways Area Towards Fishers Hill In Primrose Western Cape South Africa

Time:  Evenings.

 

Good evening Brian, after reading these blogs, I've decided to come forward with what we have seen. I'm tired of telling people and they think I'm speaking nonsense because I know what iv seen so I'm so glad I can tell you. In June we spotted these orange lights travelling from Fourways area towards Fishers Hill in Primrose.

 

We saw a total of 34 lights that night. Saturday night (last night) my mom saw another 12 travelling in the same direction.

I have my thoughts on what it could be, and if it is what I think then, I'm sure I know why they are here, but if anyone can explain then I'm really open to suggestions because at this point in time I'm not sure who to speak to because so many people are closed off to UFO spotting's and turn their back when you even mention a UFO.

 

I believe they are around and will make contact soon.

Bright Orange Object Seen Over Fourways Pine Slopes South Africa

Shape of Objects: Round.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I'm on the top floor of a 3rd floor Town-house apartment. My girlfriend and I were sitting on the balcony outside. Something caught the corner of my eye. A large object, 'glowing' bright orange appeared into my line of sight and slowly moved in a northerly direction.

 

The glowing varied in intensity, but stayed 'on' until the object faded out of sight. It was close (no more than 500m away, but probably much closer), and no more than 150m up in the sky. It was almost like it had a bright orange fire 'inside' of it. S

 

So it was less like a light (although from a further distance it certainly would have looked more like a light than a glow - it was easily bright enough to be seen from miles away). I could not discern it’s shape, although judging from the glow reflection/emission, it was roundish in shape.

 

It moved too slow to be a plane, and too fast to be a balloon of some kind. There was no wind to justify it being 'blown' across the sky, and besides it kept dead level all the way until it faded from sight, almost as if the light was in the front of it, and became obscured by the back end of the object.

 

This gives you an idea how close it was, because if it were distant, the 'light' would have been visible for much longer. It’s like standing on the side of the road and watching a car pass by, initially you see the front end, and soon enough all you can see is the back end.

 

There was no sound to it whatsoever, and even a dog started barking at it. (they never bark at planes, only hot air balloons, of which this was certainly not one). I am very logical, and I have been through every thought process to try and reason my way out of a UFO sighting, but I'm left with nothing to rationalize this.

 

It appears to be my first real sighting. I scanned the net for blogs, and lo and behold, there was the same 24 hours previous in the same area.  To me, and a few in the last few weeks and a few in the last few months, all in the Fourways/Pine Slopes area of the Province of Gauteng in South Africa.

Orange Light Over Fourways Pineslopes South Africa (Picture)

Time: Evening.

Hi guys, I saw a sighting of the orange light phenomenon over Fourways/Pineslopes this evening. Thought you may be interested. By the time I got the camera ready it moved halfway across the sky, so kind of looks like a bright dot against the sky.

Was way too bright for a star, and certainly not a plane. First moved closer till it was at its brightest, move slightly away, hovered for a bit then slowly moved towards the horizon.

Any answers on this one? Is it perhaps a satellite reflecting?

14 Orange Lights Above Fourways South Africa

We saw the same type of light in the sky last night 27/03/2011 at 21:00. This time it was about 14 of these lights and it was like they flew in a formation from the north to south and steadily disappearing.

Orange Object Over Fourways Area In Gauteng South Africa

Time: Evening.

Good day, with regard to the orange light. My girlfriend and I spotted the light as well , moved from an easterly to westerly direction and changed speed and direction many times, but eventually moved off to the west and disappeared behind some clouds. I stay in the Fourways area in Gauteng South Africa.

Orange Light Filmed Over Fourways Johannesburg South Africa (Pictures)

Date: January 1, 2011

Time: 8:13 p.m. and again 8:26 p.m.

Orange light seen in the sky tonight at 8:13pm and again 8:26pm 1 January 2011. Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa.

One person saw the orange light in the sky at 8:13pm over Fourways in Johannesburg, he came into the house to tell us and it had disappeared by the time we got outside.

At 8:26pm he went outside and saw an orange light again, this time it was still in the sky when we got outside. We were able to photograph it before it went away again.

It moved straight towards us before stopping then and then moved away from us at a slow steady pace (too slowly to be an aero plane, with no sound) eventually disappearing .
