Green Line Spotted Over The Chiswick/Kew/Brentford Area UK (Pictures)

Time:  Around 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Hey, I was in my garden last night and saw a green line in the sky, much like the one you were describing. It was around 11/12 at night and it did fade with cloud cover, meaning it was higher than the clouds.

It was in the Chiswick/Kew/Brentford area. I'm located in Acton and saw it, and we got pictures too. What do you think it is? Thanks.

Additional Information:
Here are the pictures, they were taken on a digital camera and so not great, but zoom in and you will see a clear green line. I heard that these are lasers on top of buildings, my friend says he sees them alot in Birmingham. 

It could be coming from Glaxosmithkline in Brentford or something there, seems plausible. Thanks again and let me know what you think.

In the pictures, the green line is located just below the two brightest stars. So if you were to draw a line to connect the two stars, its just below the middle of this line.

Green Line In The Sky Over Chiswick/Kew/Brentford Area UK

Green Lights Seen Over Brentford UK

Green Lines In The Night Sky Over Brentford West London UK (Possible Explanation For Green Lines Of Light)

Time:  Evening

 

I have just seen several green lights in the sky over our garden in Brentford. Most were streaks or lines of green light.

 

All these lines were heading in the same direction and they would suddenly disappear just like a light being switched off.

 

Then would reappear, mostly in the same section of the sky. They didn't appear to be moving.

My feeling is that they are meteors.

Thin Rectangular Shaped Bright Green Light Witnessed Over Brentford West London England UK

Time:  Approx: 11:15 p.m.

 

Excellent Brian, much like the Brentford article. I'm located a few minutes away. I was leaning against the car and as I tilted my head back I noticed a bright green light. Very thin rectangle shaped. Was visible from behind the clouds. Just about.

 

It was perfectly still, now I stood and watched for about a good 10 minutes, before the light went off and it seemed to have this pulsating affect. Where it faded out from the sides.

 

Then went smaller and just instantly vanished. Still being shocked, I stood around staring into the clouds, seconds later it popped up again. This time the patch of sky it popped up in which was about a half mile or so away in the sky (guessing) had very little cloud.

 

The light was picture perfect bright green thin rectangle. I'd even go as far to say I could almost notice a large shadow like frame behind it. Maybe light clouds or something, that I cant be sure of.

Was shocked, ran home and called out my friend who was awaiting my arrival. Also requested my sister bring out a camera. My friend noticed the same light and shape too, however by the time the camera came the light was gone, then the clouds covered the skies.

It is I believe the exact same light the man in Brentford saw. I refuse to believe it was an astronomical laser, as I've had a few of those and you would see the trail going through the cloud.

 

This light was sitting behind the clouds and as the clouds got darker the light shaded away more and more.

Some said electrical storm. No hope with some people. I'm hoping you can shed some light on the matter, as it might be worth mentioning it was a full moon ?

Green Line Spotted In The Sky Over Brentford London UK

Time:  11:15 p.m.

 

I saw the same thing and it is up there right now, at 11:15 p.m. on Thursday 8 March 2012. I tried to film and photograph it, but the digital camera is not picking it out. Enhancement may help.

It was a thin horizontal stripe, that changed in color and intensity as the cloud passed. My hunch is it was someone projecting onto the clouds, though why they would project a green line is not clear.

Can anyone ascertain where this was coming from?

I was looking at it from Kew and agree it was over Brentford.

Bright Thin Florescent Green Lights Over Brentford London UK

Hey Brian, I hope you're well. I saw your post about the green lights that turned into other colours and thought I should let you know I saw some bright florescent green lights over London tonight!

 

I was in Brentford walking to the train station at 18:48 and I saw a long thin florescent green light high up above the clouds. It was completely still whilst the clouds moved below it. Occasionally the light would shine brighter then dim again (like a light switch effect - not gradual).

 

I was staring up at it for about 7 minutes or so and it just didn't move at all. The clouds would cover it a little then it'd come back into view. But then, I saw another florescent green light in a completely different part of the sky (more over head) that was slightly smaller and round!

 

Again, it was completely still and the clouds would cover it up sometimes. I was standing there staring at the two when I noticed two police women. I walked over to them and pointed them out and they were also both completely dumbfounded!

 

Unfortunately the clouds covered them up in the end and I couldn't see them anymore but they were both very visible for about 7 minuets.

I've never seen anything like it!

They couldn't have been green lasers or anything like that as I know lasers would shine through the cloud from below, but these were definitely above the clouds and completely static.

 

Do you think it's from the same kind of thing you saw?
