Saw glowing orange lights moving to right of Oaktree close Preston. Towards center of Preston. 2 of. About 1 minute apart. Slightly different trajectory's.
No sparks from the back. Above cloud cover. Too fast for jets. Just disappeared before going out of site over buildings. About 9:20 p.m. Xmas day 2012.

On April the 10th 2013 Around Midnight, i posted on my Facebook wall "Has anyone else just seen around 6 orange lights fly over Blackpool???" I did some digging tonight and found similar cases. Unfortunately not corresponding to the same date. I know the possibility of it just lanterns is there. But at the brightness, distance, speed and how they appeared then disappeared in the middle of the sky, does not explain this. Can anyone shed any light on this story... Pardon the pun.
I saw 3 orange lights last night at 12.20 am 1st Jan 2014, at the time I wondered what they were, 2 were close together, one was further behind, travelling from South to North N/East....no traffic, the night was clear and not windy, no sound at all from above, moving dead straight quicker than usual helicopters, no other colors . Blackpool, above Layton Road heading toward Water Tower...glad someone else has seen these before . Was with another person who can corroborate ( not drunk either BTW ! )
