Bright White Object Leaves Area Then Returns Over Firkale Glengarriff Ireland

Hi Brian, following hearing about my sighting, a friend forwarded me your email.

So, what was in the sky the night of Wed 31 August I can't have been the only one to see it! I live in Firkeale, Glengarriff and around 10:30pm – 11:00pm I think it was.

I happened to look out the landing window on the way to bed. It was a starry night and clearly this was not a star. Difficult to tell, but it was high in the sky somewhere in the general Bantry direction.

A bright white light and stationary. I got my not very powerful binoculars which showed that this thing was radiating a lot of light. I'm not sure, but I thought I saw some static around it for a moment or two and there also seemed to be a red light which became more clear when this thing appeared to speed away with the red light diminishing into the darkness just as I remember seeing Starship Enterprise doing on TV years ago!

It came back a few minutes later with the red light appearing faintly first and then as it returned to it's previous stationary position, this bright white light. No clear shape, but stronger binoculars might have been more helpful with an outline. I couldn't say it was round - more like a capsule.

Buckfast And Plymouth Sound Strange Light Disappears And Then Reappears (Video Footage)

Notice: I just would like to inform folks that there is one word that is colorful, so please keep this in mind.

Hi, Myself and two work colleges saw a strange moving white light on the way back from Exeter this evening. We sighted it at 8pm around Buckfast and it followed the A38 to around the Plympton turn off where it got a lot smaller as it sped off and incredible speed (turning blue/green as it did). We though it was a helicopter as first but it began to move toward and away from us extremely quick and we heard no noise from it. It dived down to tree level and back up again. It had no turning arc it just changed direction.

It then re-appeared over the Plymouth sound direction and moved slowly toward Mount Batten. I called my wife and she saw it from Home (Staddiscombe) as it hung stationary over Mount Batten. My Apprentice filmed the light on his mobile phone, I have asked him to upload it to facebook. Four of us saw this and we all agreed this was not manmade object we have ever seen. I just watched the Lincolnshire UFO video online for the first time. It was very similar to light we saw. Regards.

County Kildare, Ireland Orb Disappears And Then Reappears

Shape of objects: Sphere.

Full Description of event/sighting: Myself and two friends were on the way to Dublin to play a gig when our bass player who was driving spotted something in the sky about 5 km away and shouted out "look over there!". It was a white orb with a faint shadow on the under side of it. It was just sitting in the sky. After about 10 seconds it faded out. Just vanished. Then reappeared in a cloud which was moving towards it and then disappeared completely. The sky was mostly clear apart from a few clouds and I am certain it was not a plane or helicopter. There was a lot of reports made at the end of '08 in Ireland of UFO sightings near Dublin.

Hello there Brian, Thanks for responding. I would estimate that I saw the object for about 3 or 4 minutes. The kind of time you would watch a light aircraft pass by your field of vision. As I said, first saw it from downstairs window then ran outside and watched it until my view was obstructed by rooftops.
This thing was very, very bright. Speed was steady and constant.

Absolutely no noise. I just wish it hadn't been pitch black because I found it difficult to estimate distance from me. It was travelling roughly south to north. Means it would have been over the town of Dudley before getting to me and then northwards into countryside before passing over Bridgenorth, Telford and further north from there.

You know what its like, I trawled net yesterday and found lots of very similar sightings in my area recently, although no one else seems to have reported this particular event locally. There must be more sightings, I mean you couldn't miss it!

I would describe myself as an open minded skeptic, but saw something on Sunday night I cant explain rationally. My wife also witnessed the whole thing, she agrees with all I have said.

Just to add that neither alcohol or drugs were a factor, although I had a stiff drink afterwards! Anything else I can help with, let me know Brian.

River Forth Inverkeithing, Fife Small UFO Hovering Then Shot Off

Shape of objects: Circular.

Full Description of event/sighting: Commenting with my partner about taking the dog for a walk out in the rain. I looked out the window of our top floor flat.
A small static object was noted hovering above and to the right of the Forth Road Bridge. It is common to see planes taking of and coming into land at Edinburgh Airport, but this was different. It was static mid air and it was small and seemed to change colours from red to green to white. I called my partner who was surprised as I was and quite simply stated the skeptic that he is and that he did not know what it was but that there was no explanation for it.
Observed it for approx 10 mins then in a blink of an eye disappeared.

Elsternwick Brighton, Australia UFO Moved Quickly And Then Stopped

Location of Sighting: In Elsternwick/Brighton, it came from east traveling to west towards Melbourne City way.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: It looked round.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was a cold and clear night when I saw what I thought may have been a plane or helicopter. It was moving kind of in between fast and slow. I looked carefully and it happened to stop suddenly and it had heaps of different colour lights on it. It stayed there in that spot for about 30 seconds and the object quickly sped off at maybe 50 - 100kph towards over the golf course. It flashed colours of white, blue, red and green and it seemed to be in a spinning effect as it was flying. It then went over to he trees like searching for something and stayed there for about 5 minutes and then suddenly disappeared.
