Orange Yellow Object With Sparks Coming From The Tail Over New Moston North Manchester UK

Time:  Between 9:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

 

Yes, the same as the other sightings over Yorkshire, I was watching TV this evening at home in New Moston, North Manchester between 9:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. when I saw this object fly across the sky, much faster than any plane I've ever seen and with fire/sparks coming from the tail.

 

At first I thought it was a shooting star, but having seen a few of those over the years it was nothing like any of the others, it was going in a straight line and did not seem to tail off in intensity at all.

 

It also seemed much closer than any shooting stars I have seen. It disappeared out of view so I ran to the back of the house and looked, but couldn't see it anywhere. So glad that other people have seen it because the wife thought I was making it up.

New Moston, Manchester, Lancashire, England Round Orange Fireballs

Time: Just after midnight, New Years Eve.

Number of witnesses: About 12
Number of objects: 7
Shape of objects: Round orange fireballs.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: Fireworks were going off for new years celebrations we noticed 3 orange lights in the sky (coming from the left hand side) a minute or so later another 2 appeared. They all seemed at the same height and going the same speed, they weren't fireworks and travelled at a steady pace. We watched them sort of just fade out, then about 5 or 10 minutes later we saw another 2, but this time coming from the left hand side, these were really, really bright. We got the binoculars and tracked them until the roofs blocked our vision, they were like bright orange fireballs. I would love someone to be able to tell us what they were, none of us had too much too drink, and too many of us saw them.
