Cigar Shaped UFO Observed Over Burnham On Crouch Essex UK

Date: June 4, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hi Brian, I am contacting you with not so much of a personal sighting of an UFO, but one from my elderly mother. She is 89 and because of her lack of mobility, she sleeps downstairs in her home next to a wide window with a clear view of the sky. At night she sometimes gets restless and spends the hours thinking and gazing at the sky and she sees planes occasionally going over.

When I saw her on Tuesday June 8, 2010 as I do regularly, she mentioned she had seen a cigar shaped form in the sky with a bright orange light at the front, which she refused to accept was a plane.

She said, it went into the clouds at high speed after being motionless for a little while. I put this down to maybe sleeplessness, but when I opened our local 'Maldon and Burnham Standard' newspaper this morning, Wednesday June 9, 2010, I saw a smallish news item entitled, ' UFO sighting over town baffles two party-goers', saying they had witnessed a 'bell-shaped shadow' with orange light underneath moving fast on Friday (June 4) also in Burnham. Just could be that Burnham is on the map for the unknown visitors at this time. Thanks for your site, (name removed) Burnham on Crouch. Essex. UK.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
