Object Brightened Up Like A Flame In The Sky Over Kloof Nek Cape Town South Africa

Hi Brian, I can found your contact through your a site about UFOs specifically the orange light.

I'm a bit freaked out about this, as I'm sure what I saw was real.

Me and some mates where walking home from Kloof nek around 8:30 +- p.m. on Saturday night of the 2nd/ December/2012, as we turned into Derwent street a bright light appeared over the city out of nowhere.

At first we thought it was a low flying plane, but it was not moving towards or away from the airport, and there was no sound. It then started to brighten up like a flame.

It moved in the left and right the performed a circle, the motion was very subtle but graceful. It moved like nothing I had ever seen not a flare, not an aircraft no a helicopter.

It then flashed and faded into darkness. We tried to film it, but it seemed the camera could no see it

The whole incident lasted around 1 minute. It was a clouded day and it was the only thing in the sky. I'm totally freaked out about this thing and would like to know more about it.

And if others have saw it?

Strange Ball Of Fire Seen Over The Constantia Kloof Mountain Florida Johannesburg South Africa

Dear Brian, I found you on the internet, by chance. I Googled to see if someone else also had a strange sighting on Christmas Eve and your name popped up. I saw a strange ball of fire attached to something last night just before 8:00 p.m.

 

I was in the garden looking for my cat and it flew soundless in a southerly direction to disappear behind the Constantia Kloof mountain. At one stage it was directly above me and I saw it very clearly. I called my husband who was inside and he came out and also saw it.

 

I asked him who is a very level headed person what he thought it was and he said "I have no idea." I am more open for other explanations and I was wondering what you think? A few years ago, we also saw something similar very late one night as we were traveling on Beyers Naude Drive. Kind regards.
