Orange Object Over The Corstorphine Area UK

Time: Approx: 6:50 p.m.

Hi, my flat mate and I were just outside having a cigarette and witnessed one of these orbs. It was heading south at a reasonable speed then slowed, briefly changed direction north and then began to rise at an incredible speed. We live in the Longstone area and it looked to be over the Corstorphine area.

We seen approximately 10 of these a few weeks ago. However, we believed them to be Chinese Lanterns as they were all travelling in the same direction and at the same rate of speed. But tonight, I do not believe it
was one of these lanterns as it was, as you mentioned in your blog, changing direction and speed.

Did you happen to notice anything tonight?

I'd just like to add that we saw this strange orange orb at approximately 18:50 06 Nov 2010.

Glowing Orange Object Over Edinburgh City Corstorphine Area Scotland

Time: Between 9:00 - 9:15 p.m.

Hi I saw one of the orbs tonight. I was sitting in my living room watching TV. Directly opposite me is my living room window and all of a sudden I was distracted by the appearance of a dull, glowing orange orb, close enough to be the side of a dinner plate, through my window.

It paused briefly and then it took off, there was no sound, I can't tell you how close it actually was. Only that within it were different shades of orange and reddish orange, kind of swirled or patchy.

I discount a balloon, because they don't glow in the dark. I discount a Chinese lanterns because this paused in the air and then took off.

I'm in Edinburgh city centre, the Corstorphine area, in Scotland. I saw an article on the net asking people to contact you if they'd seen one. So here you go. The time I saw it was just after 9pm - 9.15pm my time as I made sure I checked the time.
